The OptiGrit OptiFoam Flexible Foam Disc in P1000 grit is built for ultra-fine finishing and precision surface refinement. With its flexible foam backing, this disc conforms to contours, edges, and curves, delivering a consistent, even scratch pattern without aggressive cutting. Perfect for your first step in the wetsanding process of clearcoat or to remove p800 sand scratches! Sand with the OptiFoam p2000 then p3000 before compounding & polishing clearcoat.  These last longer than the big brand's foam discs with our woven fabric impregnated with abrasive. Not only are these more affordable per disc but they last 2x as long (or more).
